Cancer
According to Web MD,"Cancer, also called malignancy, is characterized by an abnormal growth of cells. There are more than 100 types of cancer, including breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lymphoma.Cancer symptoms vary widely based on the type of cancer."
That, my friends is the long and short of it as far as conventionalism is concerned.
It is NOT:
However,
IT IS:
Curable
Preventable
Your body's way of telling you that something is wrong
A Lifestyle disease [disease bought on because of how people live, in particular their eating and social interaction habits (smoke, drink etc).Even physical environment is a culprit (although not as as manageable sometimes)].
With that said, if you change your lifestyle, you would have chopped down the risk of you getting cancer (or any disease really) by a great deal.
Why Remissions?
As I mentioned earlier, cancer is not "cured" or "treated" by chemotherapy, radiation or surgery, hence remissions.
To put it simply, "if you keep playing with pups, you'll get bitten by fleas" and "if you keep tossing someone in the pigpen, don't expect them to smell like a rose" Which brings me to the next section.
The Equation...The Environment
There is a saying that goes "you can try the same thing over and over again, expecting different results" The same thing goes for the environment that people are released back into.
People, you can't expect to stay well, if everytime you recover from something you go back in the situation AND you continue to do what you have been doing.

Bottom Line
You can't expect to recover to full health if your lifestyle habits don't change. You need to step up and take back control over what we eat and what we allow our children to consume.
It's time to take responsibility for you social indulgences (the drinking, the smoking, the promiscuous lifestyles)
